APPLICATION PROCEDURE

1. Online/Offline Application

1.1 Create your account in the Online Application System available at https://lcu.at0086.cn/StuApplication/login.aspx.

1.2 Upload all materials as required on Online Application System, or send by email the documents as required to admissions officer.

1.3 Pay the application fee (300 RMB yuan) online or pay when arriving at Liaocheng University to complete your application.

1.4 Application can also be processed at Chinese Embassy/Consulate, Confucius Institute(s), Chinese Department in universities, or other accredited organizations.

2. Comprehensive Evaluation and Application Review

2.1 Applications submitted with all the information correct and complete will be evaluated by Liaocheng University.

2.2 Integrative Test/Interview

2.2.1 Applicants whose application materials have passed the Application Review will be admitted to the Integrative test/interview. The method and time of the Integrative test/interview will be informed in advance.

2.2.2 Integrative Test/interview may be held at Chinese Embassy/Consulate, Confucius Institute(s), Chinese Department in universities, other accredited organizations, or directly with Liaocheng University Admissions Officer online.

2.2.3 Applicants who apply for certain programs may be asked for extra tests or documents for second review.

2.2.4 Outstanding applicants recognized by Liaocheng University may have the integrative test/interview waived and get an offer directly.

3. Admission Decision and Offer

The admission decision is based on a comprehensive evaluation of academic performance, language ability, supporting materials, as well as Integrative test/interview (if applicable).

4. Schedule

4.1 Online/offline application is terminated by end of each May or November, or 2 months ahead of final admission for applicants to respective programs.

4.2 Admission materials/final offer is sent by regular mail to applicants or recommendation/sponsor organizations in each July or December, and applicants apply for Chinese visa at local Chinese Embassy/Consulate, and arrive at Liaocheng University on time specified in admission materials/final offer.

4.3 Liaocheng University offers conditional free pickup to new international students at Jinan International Airport, Jinan Railway Station, Jinan West Railway Station, Liaocheng Railway Station, or other destinations decided and clarified by Liaocheng University.
