This program provides a platform for Chinese learners from around the world to showcase their Chinese language skills, share their learning experience, examine their learning outcome, and build a bridge to promote their friendship through the Chinese Bridge Chinese Proficiency Competition for Foreign College Students, Chinese Bridge Chinese Proficiency Competition for Foreign Secondary School Students, and Chinese Bridge Chinese Proficiency Competition for Foreigners across the Globe. Since its inception in 2002, the competition has become a popular international event among Chinese language learners worldwide, and is known as the Olympic Games for Chinese.

Schedule of the Competitions

Each of the three competitions is held once a year.

1. The preliminary rounds of the Competition for Foreign College Students are held overseas from March to May, the selection and invitation of candidates for the global final is in June, and the global final starts from July.

2. The preliminary rounds of the Competition for Foreign Secondary School Students are held overseas from March to August, the selection and invitation of participants for the global final is in September, and the global final is held in October.

3. The preliminary rounds of the Competition for Foreigners across the Globe are held from May to July, and the global final is held in August.
