Liaocheng University, a public-funded university located in the renowned Water City of Liaocheng in east China’s most Confucian and prosperous Shandong province, has long been entitled to conferring to its students master and bachelor degrees on philosophy, economics, law, pedagogy, literature, history, sciences, engineering, agronomy, management, art, and medicine. Presently within the university are 25 schools and 9 research institutes that cover 78 bachelor degree programs and 40 master degree programs. Chemistry, engineering, materials science, and computer science of the university are amongst the top 1% of ESI ranking.
